The Invisible Man starts from Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) who is trapped in an unhealthy marital relationship with Adrian (Oliver Jackson), a smart and wealthy scientist. Cecilia has always been a victim of violence with a life under her husband's control.
One night, Cecilia manages to escape and hide in the residence of her sister, Emily Kass (Harriet Dyer), childhood friend James Lanier (Aldis Hodge) and her daughter Sydney (Storm Reid).
One day, Cecilia's husband reportedly died of suicide. Adrian gave an extraordinary amount of inheritance, US $ 5 million, on condition that his wife must be mentally healthy.
Shortly after, Cecilia began to show weirdness. According to him, Adrian could not possibly kill himself. In addition, she also felt her husband as rough as still living and living in the vicinity.

The Invisible Man is a sci-fi horror film directed by Leigh Whannell. He previously made a duet with James Wan writing stories of several hit horror films such as Saw (2004), Dead Silence (2007), Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), as well as directing The Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015).
